Re: wont start after tune up

I don't have 12 volts going to the coil on the dist side. What would cause this? It only shows 5.6 volts. Rotor turns when cranked. Dist is tight so I dont think timing is out. With #1 at tdc timing mark sits at 10 degrees. Could there be a short in the dist? I will check the ballasl wires tomorrow.

fender nut clips

Looking for a picture of the nut clip that goes at the top of the fender. The one that is bolted from the inside of the cab. This clip seems different from the others. I broke the bolt when removing the fender and have no idea where the clip went. thanx

Power steering ford box

Looking to do a ford box power steering. When trying to install the box in the factory location, it is to long to attach to the steering shaft at the rag joint connection. I checked the power steer posts and from the pictures it seems to work. Am I missing some thing ?

Okay I have a 71 3/4 ton camper special. Have a ford steering box. When I try to install the box with the pitman arm shaft in the factory location through the frame, the splined shaft where the rag joint attaches is to long to attach to the steering column. Am I missing something? Looking at the pic...
