Re: In need of advice and ideas.

5k for a stock 2wd farm truck? F*ck, it better have a majority of the stuff on these lists already done to it.

For 5k it better be in good enough shape for me to drive it 1000 miles in the early spring

Re: How To, Stereo/Headunit Delete

Shark (http://www.sharkmotorcycleaudio.com/) makes all kinds of stuff like this.

You can get a bluetooth receiver with power supply, aux in and 1000 watt amp all in the same box (about the size of a pack of smokes) for about $45

Re: MPG's? (LOL)

66 w200 with a later (84) 360, 4 barrel edelbrock (that runs a bit rich), 727, 60/70 axles and 33 inch super swampers. I mostly drive 80 everywhere and if I am constant for 100 miles I can push it to 11mpg, normal puttin around gets me about 8 on average. Ya, but there's no hills in Toto Land ...

Re: Fuel tank relocaton

lots of places sell pop caps for people that make their own motorcycle tanks, as well

although, boats and motorcycles, its kind of a toss up on which has the more over-priced parts

Re: Minimum lift required for 38" superswampers on W200

I put 33" swampers on my stock w200...I think 35" would fit but that would be the tops, at least on my truck

No problem turning the 33s cruising down the hiway @ 80 mph with my stockish 360

I can't say I have ever really paid attention to fitment when I see them on trucks, but you do see ...

Re: FNG

Hey Mike, nice truck to get started with :Thumbsup fyi, it is a W200, not D200. D=2wd, W=4wd (powerwagon) Data tag might say D if it was originally 2wd and converted later. You are right, I was looking at weatherstriping online while I was typing that post and accidently typed d200...its definetly ...
