I'm pretty sure my axle is centered in the front leaf spring.

I've heard some guys use the 8" B-body booster that is sold on Ebay. I have not personally used it though. Does the b body booster clear the fire wall? My truck didn't have seatbelts so I installed them. If you scroll down my build thread, you can see how I fished the backing plates into my truck and riveted them in place.
