I just got my new 318 poly gasket kit today and the FelPro head gaskets are metal one side and blue (paper?) the other side..I am assuming the blue paper is face up when I lay the gasket on the engine block (that's the only way it seems to fit the block) but i'm wondering if the raw metal side needs...

Does anyone know which head bolts will require RTV sealant when re-installing the heads? I think it is the lower bolts only but i'm not sure. Also, Is it good practice to lube them first, then put the RTV on top of it or do the opposite? Also, do other fasteners require sealant that may be in the wa...
