Not sure of the spline count. It's an early 68. Will have to ask my shop, they just did the clutch. Seems like a pretty common transmission, there has to be one out there!

np435 in SF Bay Area?
Hi there, I recently got a 68 w200 which I love, but the transmission just went out. Wondering if there were any good used ones out there I could purchase before shelling out to rebuild mine. It's the np 435 and I'm in Oakland, CA but willing to go on a mission. Thanks so much.
