Looks great, I painted a Jeep cj5 same color a few yrs back, what type of paint did u use that your color sanding, base coat clear coat?

Sorry but I had to chuckle just thinking about how that happened, been there, so I feel your pain. Check out recent thread (radiator help) in engine/ drivetrain section, Champion radiators from Ledfoot racing, that what I have in my 62ute, original radiators are hard to find.

If your talking about the 90 degree brass elbow that the dipstick screws into, you should be able to find one a store that has a good selection of brass NPT fittings, take your dipstick with you and know what the size is that threads into pan, or take pan too if possible

Got mine from Leadfoot racing,they sell Champion aluminum radiators , I bought one for my 62 with a 440 works great and fit good too, had to modify mounting tabs some though, mine cost 210 bucks plus shipping, even has a built in tranny cooler, they have some generic mopar radiators, check out their...

I have the latch, handle ect.all the guts from a 62 door ,I guess I should say will all the parts (guts)from a 62 fit the bare door from a 1970, or should I wait until I can find a 62-65 door, thanks

Thank Marklien, so a Dakota or ram starter from 1990 to about a 1995 will fit my 440/727 combo

Are those nippondenso starters from the 90's Dakotas a direct bolt in on a 440? If I go to the pick n pull what year/models can I pull one of these starters from?

My seal came the same way, I put extra channel on inside of cab, trying to remember but it seems like I put seal on glass then had a helper on inside of cab hold it against opening while I worked seal over lip. Use lots of soapy water and careful not to tear rubber, mine was real tight and a SOB to ...

Bit the bullet and bought another new starter to try and it works fine, I stand corrected, the first starter was a Bosch repop that ordered from Summit some months ago not oriellys, sad that these remanufactured parts so unreliable, thanks to all who responded with help. Scott

Check out Moparfins.com, select "fix your mopar" from side menu, then select differentials , some good info on 8 3/4 rear ends,spring perch widths ect....

Ok so I crawled under the ute and had the the wife bump the starter for me so I could watch the bendix gear engage the ring gear, first and second tries the bendix gear engaged perfectly but on the third bump of the starter it didnt engage and just spun against the ring gear, I don't know, i guess i...

I'm not sure if there was a shim plate in there from the factory, the starter was missing when I purchased the engine and tranny, you might be on to something there, not sure how to find out if there was one from the factory, thanks roxyflash
