Re: DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KIT FOR D200 & D300 JUST RELEASED!

The spindle is on my 1965 D200 Crew and is original as far as I know. There are other Crews I have seen with it. I made disc brakes for it that are good but would rather have something from a pro.

Do any of your kits fit this spindle. Thanks.

Re: Radio Options

1965 or so ford radios fit the stock dash also. I went that route when I couldn't find a Dodge radio for under $200. The ford ones come up for under $50 quite often. I am going to send it to Ward's.

Re: CPP Steering Input

I just remembered i am running a 6 1/2 inch pitman. The Dodge pitman arm may just be too long. I need to get the correct pitman arm and see if it craps out.

Re: CPP Steering Input

I have not driven my truck on the open road but have moved it and turned it around quite a bit on my property. There is no issue with mine at a dead stop. I can spin the wheel lock to lock with one finger at a dead stop. Its a D200 Crew with 16.5 skinny tires. I am using a PS pump from a 1994 dodge ...

I took my crew axle to a machine shop that also had the proper reamer to do both top /bottom at the same time.

Re: new box power steering

I have no idea what fits what. I have a 1994 engine with the serpentine drive belt. I seem to remember the steering is supposed to work with any Saginaw pump. Kurt I'm curious about your use of the serpentine belt. My 69 truck I just bought has a 92 318 with the serpentine belt as well. The prior o...

Re: new box power steering

The box is kind of small compared the ford conversions I looked at. Has anyone used a Toyota box on a W series with big tires?

When I get the longer pitman arm I will report out. I have a crew with 8.75x16.5 tires right now, no issues other than its too easy.

Re: new box power steering

I am pretty sure I used the one for the Chevy. Its in this thread someplace. It is 6.5 inches. My truck is d200 so came stock with the 7.25 inch arm. The W200 arm is shorter. I am getting lock to lock but someone else with a D100 did not. I plan on switching to the longer arm on mine to avoid bump s...

Re: new box power steering

Vin, I have a 1994 dodge ram PS pump and the steering is too easy. I may put a pressure reducer. I can turn my wheels with one finger standing still on any surface. There must be some restriction in your system or a bad pump.

Re: 61 D100 Headlight Fuse

FYI, I was thinking 10 amp fuse at first but the L10-A is the wire number in the chart above the schematics. The L10-A is a brown # 12 awg wire going to the rear tail lights from the switch. The incoming wire from the alternator to the head light switch is A-5, which is a Black # 10 awg wire. A # 1...

Rocker arms unlimited was recommended to me by the yahoo poly group too. They also blueprint them so you get the correct ratio. The stock ones can be way off from what I am told.

Re: big block swap

I would swear my 1965 crew had a front sump but someone could have dropped a car engine into it. My engine code, vin number and registration are all different years. I put a 360 magnum in it with a rear sump and was worried but the sump is fully behind the axle.

No problem, Here are a couple of pics. The sun was bad this morning when I took them. Its lower than it should be put above the pumpkin. For me this is a normal height street truck so I will live with it to have 31 gallons of gas and an in tank injection pump. Gas tank fit1.jpg Gas tank fit2.jpg

That's awesome. Do you have a picture of the pit man arm? What pump do you have? I have one from a 1994 dodge and the hoses fit.
