Re: Curious on asking price

Thanks for the feed back, the inserts in this one are grey. The metal is pretty good, some hazing and having been out in the sun for who knows how long. Might polish up pretty well. But rather leave that up to its new owner. If I go through the trouble of really cleaning it up I will add in some opa...

Curious on asking price

Hello folks, I recently ran across a 71 d-200 as you may have seen from other posts. While removing the fenders I took off the grill which was in really good shape. So even though my truck is a 61' grabbed it anyway, vs watching it go to the crusher. So, were I to sell this grill, with all inserts i...

Monster Truck Movie

Hey fellas, Watched the new "Monster Truck" Movie yesterday. Had several older dodges in it, including a 61-65 d/200 wrecker. Love seeing our trucks in movies.

Re: Axle Flip Results

I think in reference to your drawing specifically, were you to add additional springs above the main spring the axle will be lifted closer to the body.. as each spring width is say a 1/4 inch, each additional spring added will decrease the space between the axle and the frame in 1/4 inch increments.

Re: Axle Flip Results

Hi,
I am by no means an expert but you could leave it that low for when you are at a car show and put air shocks on it.
They are not 100% dependable but super easy to install. Just my two cents. Was thinking about going the same route with my 61'

Te cab I have was separated from the frame, doors were off, so i gently rolled it onto its back, firewall straight up and had all the clearance in the world to work on the floors rockers etc.
