My Two Favorite Things on Earth
Hey guys, been several months since I been on here. Thought I would post a pic of my little one and my truck at a local cruise in late last summer. Yes I still have the black beast, but had to sell my blue '70 Power Wagon last summer. :pale But at least I am keeping ol' Bruticus! And my daughter LOV...

Re: Robbed another grave today...
Wow nice find! :Thumbsup Another one for the Dodge farm! You are very good at finding those trucks that's for sure! Thanks again for the parts. I finally did some tinkering with my blue '70 truck this past weekend, and got to drive it around a bit. This week the heater core goes in and it's gonna ge...

Re: My 1971 getting close...
I'm just not big on the whole "patina" thing, I guess. Any vehicle looks a LOT better in one color, if nothing else. "Patina" is just another word for "needs paint"!! Nice truck you have there. The interior and the engine compartment make it pop! But, I'd paint the upper half of the truck, were it ...

Re: My new old 1970 Powerwagon
Well isn't that an awesome sight? :Thumbsup After sitting since I drove it home, I finally put a new battery in Dr. Blue and it fired right up so took it out for a little spin. Next step is a full tune and a few other things like a good pressure wash. Gonna paint it semi gloss blue, just like my oth...

Re: mopar hoarders
....Some people just can't let go. Should be sold and fixed up ..... Its their truck and they have every right to do with it as they please. No one else has any right to tell them what "should" or "shouldn't" be done with it. Its an ugly slope when one starts impinging on another's rights. Think ab...

Re: mopar hoarders
In short....YES, it seems that way. If you drive up to a random mopar guys house and he has 15 cars in his backyard....and they all seem to be well beyond restoration, nothing on them will be for sale since he/she is going to restore them all at some point  It's that way here. You keep driving...

Re: 440 Upgrades
I have a 383 truck as well. Both of my trucks have Edelbrock 600s on them and headers and both do well. I love the Edelbrock carbs because no matter how warm or cold it is outside, one pump and the engines fire right up. Both engines run great, good compression, no smoke. My 440 is just way stronger...

Re: Anyone ever been to Cooperstown, NY
I've never been there but it beats the idea of Hawaii. Probably a good idea to stay away from Hawaii for now with N. Korea moving missles to their coastline. Just a thought.

Re: 440 Upgrades
A 600 carb is a joke I went tru that on my 383 front barrels are way to small a 650 was the same.I run a 750 holley or a 500 two barrel both these will get you out of a jam if needed.Go with a dual plane intake and a 750 or 780 carb you wont be disapointed I was thinking that too. I could sell one ...

Re: 440 Upgrades
Maybe I should start a "sponsor a truck" fund. Have it read like those ads for Ethiopian kids in those commercials. "For just pennys a day, you can help a Sweptline get the parts and care it needs to serve its owner and make them happy. Wont you please help? Operators are standing by!"
