taillight bulkhead connector

Hello All-- I've been a member here for years but didn't actually have my truck for the last 8, so I lurked around, arming myself with knowledge until I finally got possession of my truck again. I am now driving it again but have an electrical issue. I'm hoping someone here might have a BAD wire har...

Re: temperature rising at high rpms need help

Hello 71Swept-- I just got my D200 back after 8 years apart, but maybe I can at least give a few ideas to check. My D200 was originally an auto, but recently was converted to a 4-speed. Before that, though, I did have the auto tranny rebuilt at one point, and it would be get to operating temp reason...

I could have sworn I had replied to this thread that I had started months ago... Thanks to WD for coming up with the pedigree of this one. The model tag is in excellent shape and it is not an NP435. I'll try to post a picture later, but it is a brute. The casing measures 16 inches long (not counting...

What is the web address of the other forum you refer to? I've been running searches but I just get dozens of hits and can't pare them down in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks!

To clarify: what the guys are saying is correct. The engine -presumably- is generating somewhere in the neighborhood of 210 hp (or it did when new...). This is what a dynomometer measures when they basically hook just an engine up to the apparatus, minus the vehicle. In order to turn all that power ...

Anyone know what used an NP4530 transmission?

Hey all-- Recently a friend of a friend asked me if I'd be interested in some old Dodge driveline parts. Not being able to say anything but "Yes," I wound up with an NP205 t-case with cross member, two other crossmembers (he was collecting a variety of things to cobble a beast together...), a flywhe...

Hey all... In 3-4 years when my wife finishes her degree and we relocate back to our home state of Colorado, maybe I'll actually be able to go to one of these shin-digs. Best case right now: I get the friend who is storing my truck to zip down to Longmont to visit without me...

FOUND IT! Or, most of it anyway... I didn't find the actual paper but I found it's reference and another bit from an aerospace guy: http://www.fordf150.net/misc/tonneau-covers-save-mpg-article.php http://66.70.82.214/Forum_MSG.aspx?master=1&category=1054&topic=56179&page_no=1 (toward the bottom) The...

A good friend of mine was always referring to his 71 Barracuda as his fish. About the same time, there was some news about a living coelacanth being found off the south coast of Africa. It was thought to be extinct millions of years ago and is called a living fossil. The fish is characterized by hav...

Hey everyone-- I was a member of this group several years back (may have even been under a slightly different name back then...) Any way, I just registered again and have some insight to this question. My background is applied physics and engineering, and I really researched this subject a number of...
