Re: Dropped Front Leaf Springs????

Haha, thanks.

Yeah, it would be good to even it out a bit for when you're driving at night so the headlights align up right on the street.

Re: Dropped Front Leaf Springs????

I pulled a few from mine on both ends. 2 in the back and 3 in the front. Its ok I guess, but if I hit a nasty pot hole or something I hit the bump stops.

Re: exhaust advice

So, I think in the meantime ill just do cut outs and see how that is. If anything ill lean more toward new headers later on. Thanks for responding.

Re: exhaust advice

Is there a difference in noise? I don't want to get something that'll be obnoxious or anything either.

exhaust advice

Newb time. :pale

Can anybody tell me the difference between getting headers or keeping the manifold and putting flow masters?

I got a quote and to switch the manifold with headers would be $360 and to add flow masters but keep the manifold would be $380.

Tonneau covers

Hey I'm looking into getting a Tonneau cover fory 67" (D200 longbed). Any idea where to shop?

I've casually looked and most I've seen will only do chevy/gmc. I just want either the fiberglass lid witb a lock or even a leather one with snaps. Thanks for any info.

Re: Today at around 11 am I committed financial suicide

Other than the body work I'd say it shouldn't take much to get it running in tip top shape. Nice find!

Re: About to blow a gasket!

Thanks for the info. The reason I'm replacing it is because there is a vacuum leak and I'm also left without power breaks. When I break it hisses and causes the truck to idle like crap.

So, while I was awaiting approval to complete my registration for the site I needed a power booster for my 67' D200 so I can have transportation to my new job I ordered one that matched my truck's criteria from Autoparts warehouse. I got the refurbished one for about $190 and it looked exactly like ...

Thanks, guys. Yeah I saw last night the page with the member's states. I'm not exactly sure what my driveline is. It's a manual v8 318i 4 speed (granny 1st). It originally came with a 383i but was swapped. My current goal is to lower it some. I'm thinking that the cheaper way (because I'm strapped f...

Hey I'm just introducing myself. I own a 67 D200 in Las Vegas. Not too sure about any other members that are from here. I've lurked a bit and read up some stuff, but still have a lot of reading to do. I have no history of being "mechanical", but have a deep appreciation for classics, and enjoy the r...
