I dug out an old 313 truck block and it has the same bolt pattern as the replacement block if this helps.

With the Propane it is best to have your camshaft ground to suit and have your distributor recurved, neither of these are essential but will help with performance/econemy also you need to run gas to prevent your carby drying up usually on startup. I realised that you were not being disrespectful as you would not have commented in that fashion if you knew what it was about, I just felt that it was easier to let you know why I have these comments there to prevent any posibility of problems.

Most of this sounds good the only thing that I would differ on is the actual join with your lugs do not crimp prepare your lug by soldering in the sleeve then pre solder your wire then heat the lug up to melt the solder and slide in the wire this will give you the best posible connection without hav...

I don't know if ya'll remember, I bought a blue 69 CC Camper Special with the 383/727...it had some trouble running...well after I changed out the plugs...it runs like a top! The guy I bought the truck from told me he changed the plugs/wires/cap/rotor.....SO much for taking him at his word!! Oh wel...

then in my thirties I bought a 200 series pickup because it was cheap.
