Re: Whats one more gonna hurt?
Ha ha, you guys crack me up. What would cageman do, The back of the cab is fine, and the truck will sit outside, so no convertable for this truck. Ill just fix this cab the best I can and put a windshield back in it. Maybe Ill find a sunroof to hide all the ripples in the middle, like I said, ...

Whats one more gonna hurt?
So Im eating breakfast today and the owner of the Junkyard was in there, he tells me about a sweptline that came in, said it was pretty bad shape and If I wanted any parts off of it, I better come get em, then he is going to crush it. So I head out there and looky there, its a 67 short box, 318 poly...

Re: H4 Headlight upgrade
If the bulbs have any tint to them at all, they will not be as bright, the blue tint filters some of the light. I was doing some reading today, and it turns out the higher the wattage, the dimmer the light will be, as our trucks wires are too small, and the lack of relays makes it worse. We compare ...

I would guess your tires are 30 inches tall, and at 2800 rpm with 4.10 gears, you would be doing 61 mph.

I get 24 mpg in my 71. thats 1,368 miles to the tank, its 57 gallons. I usually fill at 1100. But its a cummins. I have tried every trick in the book to get mpg in my gas vehicles. My neon no matter what it does gets 40 highway. town driving, 30. I have tried air dams, taking off the mirrors, the wi...

Re: Headed north
Wait till you get to Minot, it is out of control with oil field trash! If you have ever been there before, you wont hardly recognize it, and last year half the town flooded too. Basically anything north and west of me here is out of control with the oil boom. Plan way ahead if you need a hotel, they...

Re: High Speed Sweptline??
I know, my 95 ram is a two wheel drive, I lowered it, Put an air dam on the front, took off the antannae and passenger mirror, I barely got 16 with my 318 five speed two wheel drive air up tires to 65 shortbox with nothing in it, has a topper too. Mostly 12 to 14. That thing is properly tuned due to...

I call that mathematical error. No gas engine swept is getting any where over 17 18 mpg, and even that is a stretch.

Re: H4 Headlight upgrade
I got one set of relays out of a 90's s10, and another out of a 2000's ford fedex truck, as it had rubber covers over them, and I liked that on my powerwagon. I think I was only getting like 10 volts at the headlight bulbs before I did it, and now I get 14 some when it is running, exact battery volt...

I classify Sioux Falls as mild winters!
I say that as I am experiencing the mildest winter of my life, been mostly 40 degrees all winter and no snow on the ground!

My valiant are plastic lenses, dude has glass, I have went through four sets of them in my truck, as in over 50,000 miles, they dont take rocks too well. I dont think I have paid over 20 bucks for them on ebay. The first set that little thing in the mid...

They are just the stock arms I bent the stock mount off of, then I drilled an 1/8 inch hole and used the adapters that come with any ol 12 inch blade, or are they 13's, I forget.
