Re: radio flyer go kart

Hey Jeff, I use a chop saw and angle grinder with a cut off wheel for my cuts. There are better tools. But it's all I have now. As for buying your metal, I go to a local metal scraper. They sell old scrap for $1 a pound. And they also sell new metal. That's where I got all my square tubing. $30 buck...

Re: radio flyer go kart

Yeah, I went without a manual clutch, one less thing to try and figure out how to fit on this thing. As far as speed goes, the faster the better! I have two different front sprockets on the was so I can play around with gearing, and if I don't think it's fast enough, I can always get their 140cc eng...

Re: radio flyer go kart

You will sit at the back, and I am going to put the pedals outside of the wagon with pads to rest your feet. The engine is a lifan 125cc that is basically a knockoff of the old honda mini trail engines.

Re: Electronic Ignition Conversion

just a thought. you dont have to do this, but this is what i did on my truck. its a replacement voltage regulator that is solid state, rather than the stock "points" style. my local autozone even had it in stock. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/1965-Dodge-D100-1-2-ton-P-U-2WD/Voltage-Regulato...

Re: project: BLOWN SLANT

For now I stole the carb off my swepty and ran some regular fuel line. It will be all braided eventually. I just want to fire it up and make sure the belt stay...
