Re: Engine Intermittently shuts off

It had an Orange Box ECU and the Insulation on the back was cracking, so I replaced it with an ECU from Summit Racing which is blue and stamped on the side Made in USA. Also changed the coil designed for Electronic Ignition. Some...

Re: closed knuckle dana 44
Thank you all very much for your input. I still think that after 53 years of rotational stress from the brakes and the vertical stress these bolts endured, they just gave it up and snapped.

closed knuckle dana 44
I have a 66 Powerwagon with a Dana 44 front diff. About 2 weeks ago, the six "grade 8 bolts" that hold the spindle, backing plate to the steering knuckle on the drivers side had failed right after I hit the brakes to make a stop. Has that ever happened to anyone out here????

Re: Mopar Electronic Ignition Kit for 318 Poly (1961 D100)
Had one in my 66 powerwagon when purchased. Also have one in my 65 Barracuda Formula "S" . Once installed I never looked back. Just change your plugs once a year and check your timing maybe once or twice a year and your done.

Re: Squareback alternator
Everything as far as the prevous posts. Now just go to a denso alternator, part # 13220 for 89 Durango with v6,from o'reillys, about 90 amps and you won't have any charge problems at idle. It is a dual field alternator. Just change the spade ends to rings, hook those to the field terminals, then go t...
