I was at a yard a few weeks ago and they had a bunch of pre 93 D60 fronts and he only wanted $275 each...are they so expensive up there because there is a high demand?

Re: 64W200 sloppy steering

oh, the adjustment nut can take the slack out but the worm gear is usually worn in the middle so if you make that good it can bind while the wheels are turned and it will not straighten out...at least I believe that is the case, but I have never been able to open one.

Re: 64W200 sloppy steering

Hey guys what does the adjustment nut on the steering box do? where can I find a rebuild kit for the steering box? thanks LB Check with Bud Thorp [aka PowerWagon54]. He rebuilds them. Maybe he'd have a parts kit for you? John isn't that a pretty tough job unless you know the tricks and have the cor...

Re: "69 W200 Power Wagon Wheels

No one will touch split rims in WA State. LB Not true. Many farm rigs still use split rims and they get fixed in WA. I had a tire repaired and a rotation done on my wife's car @ Americas tire in Vancouver a few days ago and asked them about it. They said yeah we do them when they come in but we don...

Re: "69 W200 Power Wagon Wheels

My '65 W200 has the stock 7.50 x 16's splits with it (in the bed). In the past I have had no issue dealing with the split rims as long as you are careful setting them up and inflate them in some secure way so if they pop you don't loose a hand or something. It is a simple system you can do them your...

Re: finally got emblems installed

Ah, no wonder they look so good. Seems like if you try to get tall tire for the 16 - 8 lung rims the tires are fat too. And again, wow, that truck looks great! I think super swamper makes a 34 inch tall very skinny offroad tire for 16 inch rims. most think they are too skinny but I prefer that here...

Re: Needs help with Restoration Questions.

Here is a link to some axle identification info. If you look around you can find lots of info online with some simple google queries: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Dana44.htm I didn't see any mention of lug nut count, so just in case: 6 = 100 and 8 = 200 If the truck is from the fores...

Thanx those are both good ideas. With the cotter pin, how would you get inside the handle trim to set it?

Stripped interior window and door handle fix?

Has anyone done, seen or heard of a good fix for the stripped knurled interior handle posts other than straight replacement?
