Ok here is what im thinking. 12"X 18" 16gauge just for a little added strength with the dimple pressed in the middle? And looking at $50 a pair.

Thank you guys for the input. My only concern is if I go to far to the rear I dont hve a way to make the bead. I used 12 gauge cause I figured it would be better for replacing the two layers. But if 18 ga would work thats fine, it will be better to form ask well.

Yes the sert sticker is there and just a little bit of the stripes on the inside back of the hood! Plus it had carpet.

Maybe ill make it up there for the next one. I got to put a new timing chain in the 440 and drive it for a bit so I know all is good to go.
