413 Timing Question
Am I understanding this correctly? My timing chain is bad? :thinking When I have a timing light on the balancer at an idle I can read the mark clearly cause it's in the same range (within 2 degrees) :Thumbsup But when I rev up to 2500-3000 the mark is all over the place (bounces 30-40 degrees) and I...

Re: Stockton wheel is gone???
I called the 800 number on their web site and a recording indicated
they are closed due to a death in the family and are no longer taking
new orders but are processing and completing current/open tickets.
But nothing about if/when they will resume operations?

I'm planning on replacing them both! Summit has Brass floats for $9.95 and two different plastic floats, one at $13.95 and the other at $23.95 not sure as to the difference in the plastic one's. :study My first step is to get ahold of the guy who rebuilt it (hoping he's back at his shop/work Monday)...

Re: Supercharged 318 Poly...
That is Cool!
I've never owned or operated a blown/supercharged vehicle
how much extra HP would you get on a 2bbl carb and stock manifolds?
anyone out there have one that could expand on this? I'm just curious
and always wanting to learn new info.

Sorry to steal this post! But Gerry's truck peaked my curiosity! :thinking Gerry, very very nice truck! :clap What caught my attention was the two pictures of the rear of the truck, as I understand your truck is all original so what is so curious to me is the lack of reverse lights? I don't know wha...

Re: Holley 4160 Question
The carb is (used) but new to me, I purchased it from the company that I use on all my carb work here in TX. He has rebuilt 3 other carbs for me and they all were setup pretty much dead on when installed. I'm guessing trash in the system too but wanted other input before I tear into a freshly rebuil...

I believe it goes like this:
D100, 200, 300, etc. =2wd
W100, 200, 300, etc. =4wd
Good luck with the restoration.

Holley 4160 Question
