Re: I am back.

Worked a job near magnolia back in 80 or 81, wasn't even thinking about being houston back then. Who was the member that lived south of houston, maybe League City? I went to his place years ago and bought a chrome grill from him. Got a mental block on his name now. Edit..it was Cowboy in Alvin. He h...

Re: Old six lug pattern 20 inch

Details? Were the centers cut out and news' welded in?
Wanting to jump start my W300 project that stalled years ago due to a lack of 6 lug adapters/spacers for the duels. Saw some 8.25×20 powerkings today and thought that my be the ticket.

Re: Steering Wheel shaft to the steering box.

old thread, but anyways, i just stripped the same part out while moving my truck to another spot in the yard . i apparently never put a nut on the cross bolt that goes thru the clamp that squeezes the female part. fine teeth on both parts.

Re: progress!

Over the next couple yrs the sun will dry and shrink the rubber and a gap will appear at the cuts. U can fill that gap with black Sika Flex 1A, otherwise it will leak. Glass shops also have a black sealer for that situation. U should seal it now, but it may not stick well if there is dried soap on ...

Re: progress!

original glass, new rubber. its been hanging in the garage for several years, so stretched out? had to cut about an inch out of it in the center, both top and bottom run. we used the rubber piece that locks everything together to pull it in with lots of soapy water in a spray bottle. i'd rather use ...
