Re: Power Steering Hoses

Local hyd. shop made mine, seems like $100., but that was maybe 7-8 years ago. He made my A.C. Hoses as well. No leaks. Good luck.

Re: Heater cores the same w/wo AC and removal

My 70 D200 with factory air has different heater core then my 70 W100 without air. Had rad. shop build mine, could not find replacement core for factory air, find non air all day long. Not to bad to remove, but I had entire system out so I could rebuild and clean.

Re: Wheel cylinder for front axle

Just put O'Reilly brakebest WC24954, WC24955 on my 70 W100 with dana 44 on today. Frist got brakebest WC40951 and WC40952, fit the backing plate but my brake line was to big for cyl. $15.04 for 54 and $13.52 for 55.

High beam indicator light

What color is your high beam indicator light? My 70 D200 is red and my 70 W100 is blue. Have not dug out my spares to check, just lazy and curious. Thanks Rick

67 D100 SWB

Went to local muffler shop yesterday, low and behold a 67 SWB on the rack. Guy just got it in a trade, he hadn't drove it but across town for exhaust, running out of headers. Warmed up 360 with 727, sounded great. Any way he came by today and wanted to know what I thought it is wrought, thinks he ma...

Re: Went to the drive-in...

That's pretty cool. We have been wanting to go to that drive in for a while, nothing good showing when we had time. If you would, let me know next year and maybe we take the O 70 down, sounds like a blast.

My motor man had me run my 383 with rotella 10W40 for 5 to 10 minutes, change oil and filter and go. I have 25000 miles on it and no trouble.

Local Radio Shake did not have 7808. Ordered 2 from Mouser.com for 72 cents each plus S&H ($2.00). Mouser.com and search LM7808
