1969 W100 brake light switch wire?
Hey all, working on a '69 Fargo W100. I'm curious as to which wire goes to the brake light switch by the pedal? When I got the truck the wiring was a mess. Nothing was connected and most was chewed by rats. I replaced the under dash harness with a nice clean one, but there are a few wires with femal...

Here's my '69 Fargo W100, pulled the seized 318 and dropped in a strong running 360, ported J heads, 10:1, .506 Purple cam. Put in a new clutch, going through the truck and making it drivable. Hoping to have it on the road by early summer. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/screaming_nut00/1969%2...

Re: Aluminum Radiator Replacement
I bought an aluminum radiator from Champion Radiators for my 70 Dart, 340. So far it has worked out GREAT, and it was a direct bolt in. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/screaming_nut00/my%20dart/009-1.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/screaming_nut00/my%20dart/008-2.jpg http://i6.photob...

Re: Bellhousing question - 318 Poly to 440
Sorry, I'm calling it a 65 just to give it something. It's titled as a 71, but has an early box, early cab/hood, etc. its really just a mix match of parts.

Bellhousing question - 318 Poly to 440
My 65 Fargo originally had a 383. At some point it was pulled, and a 318 Poly was installed. The truck still has the NP 4 speed.
My question is will the bellhousing on my 318 Poly bolt on to a 440 I have? Or do I need a big block belhousing?

Re: Which dual master? Also, where to get rubber lines
How do you have a power booster under the cab? Not sure, but both my W300's have it like that. Someone else referred to it as a 'hydrolic' brake booster (?). When the single master was on, the line from the master went into an MC on the booster, and came out of the MC to the distribution valve, and...

Re: Which dual master? Also, where to get rubber lines
Stock lift being a W300. Used to have a longer frame, but we cut the frame down and put on the short box. It has 40" bias ply military issue tires on 20" split rims.Seff wrote:that thing is a monster :D what did you do to it to make it so tall?

Re: Which dual master? Also, where to get rubber lines
No problem. Here, I'll post the rest of the pics, of the job completed. Not the prettiest, but it works. I've got a 5/16" line running down to my power booster under the cab, and then 1/4" to my fronts from the distribution valve. I've got 1/4" line running down to the dist. valve for my rears, and ...

Re: Which dual master? Also, where to get rubber lines
Great, thanks for the pictures. What I did was, found a dual master cylinder on a 68 Dodge W100, and it was the same style you have above, but without the booster. Instead of a booster though, it had an adapter plate with the same bolt pattern as my old single master. I pulled the plate, as well as ...

Could you post a pic of your 69 master cylinder? I'd like to see the bolt pattern against the firewall, thanks.

Thanks. I'll give NAPA a try. Do you know which year they started the dual masters? Was it 68?

Which dual master? Also, where to get rubber lines
I have a 65 Fargo W300 PowerWagon, which still has a single master cylinder. I would like to upgrade to a dual master. 5 months ago, I rebuilt the front wheel cylinders with rebuild kits and honed them out, since I could not find new anywhere. I replaced the rears with new. After bleeding them, I dr...

Re: Removing front drums from 65 W300
It should be dry behind the rubber. You will either have to replace them, or rebuild them. Always replace/rebuild both sides at the same time. I had to buy rebuild kits and hone out both sides for about 5 hours each to clear the pitting, since there was only 1 wheel cylinder of my type, floating aro...
