Re: Wiring inside of steering column - '61 D100
Wiring in column is all part of the turn signal switch. Pretty easy to change out(end of wires have male/female disconnects). FYI, I have 1 oem '61 turn signal switch left out of my stash but they are hard to find and expensive. Pm me if you need clarification on removing the switch. Chris.

Re: Need Exterior Moulding for 1967 D100
I'm looking for a complete moulding set like this... Jeff I found a complete set for a D200. My truck is a D100. Does anyone know if they’re compatible? Maybe identical? @powerwagon, I was told you might know? Exactly identical all trucks 66-68 Terry, I thought the molding changed in '67 on the doo...

Re: HELPPPP - 64 W100 Motor Mount ASAP PLEASE
Is the /6 and poly the same in 64? I had to make mine using a 1977 D100 440 mounts. I have a 64 with the old style frame mount. Post a photo, I have 3/4 sets. Craig IMG_3268.jpg Yes the early mount was used for the Poly/small block and Slant six. I converted my '61 from a slant six to a 273 small b...

Re: In dash shifter issues
In general I agree with PWD, However, since the cable enters the case you will not be able to see the cable at the trans end, you should be able to hear it shift inside the case with a automotive stethoscope, or by ear ( last year of this application, only year with 2 cables ). If it turns out that...

Re: Dart Bucket Seats
What years Dart seats would have been used in the CSS? Same year as the regular pickup, '64 to '67? Pretty sure '64-'66 CSS used '64 Dart buckets( '63-'65 Dart seats are the same frame/foam, just different covers). '67 CSS used '67 Dart seats(they are not the frame/foam as early seats). :Thumbsup

Re: Dart Bucket Seats
Terry is correct about the costs on the bucket seats to find and restore. '63-'65 Dart/Barracuda will work. Finding them with good complete brackets, not easy. The harder task is finding a '62-'63 Polara/Sports Fury console.( Truly the Holy Grail :pale ). Sold a set a few years ago to a guy in Canad...

Re: '61 Speedometer Disassembly
I've opened 5 of the round speedo's. Time and patience are your friends. Go to Home Depot/Lowe's and get a hand full of free paint lid openers and grind the lip to almost a knife edge. You will go through 3-4 to get all the way around. Only bend the lip out far enough to gently pry the casing out a ...

Re: White Wheel
Hey Darren, I bought a 60's Studebaker steering wheel awhile back ( liked the look and will fit the Sweptline column with a few modifications). What will fit is the horn center piece that has an interesting "S" in it. Just a thought. There is one on Ebay. FYI, Chris. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3040125...

Re: NP435 Outer Shifter Boot?
Thanks I like the look of that one, especially with the combined hold down ring. I'm going to order one tonight. You have to drill 4 holes in the top ring and attach with sheet metal screws. ( the clips on bottom of the ring are specific to the jeep model and don't work on our trucks. no problem) :...

Thanks Texas2step for the link. It looks like the size is 10.5" long.
