Got it out with 2 round head crow bars placed on ring gear bolt heads and against case. top and bottom.

Got a 71 W100 with 44 Front Axle parts truck that I can't get the carrier out of the case. Cups are off ,axles pull. PB blasted it for two days. FSM syas pry with screwdriver Any tricks?

You actually don't have to cut them. You heat them up until the post portion frees from the base and turn it to where you want it. The L and R mirrors are made with the same parts. Since the grille is anodized aluminum and the bumper is chrome plated, I'm not sure why you are referring to paint.
