Paint issue
I bought a 68' Adventurer 1/2 ton and the previous owner rattle canned the crap out of the truck spraying everything including the windows. I have removed most of the paint on the glass with isopropyl alcohol but what do I use on the stainless and chrome without damage to the emblems and trim?

Got my taxs back today!! gonna take the ol' junker to the boneyard(i figure it's worth a few hundred) and go and buy me a newer Ford!this old trucks a waste of time and money.Thanks guys for all the help!

I plan on removing the doors,hood,and the bed off the white one being all of that is straight and making the green one a solid,straight truck. and the bumper(s)! Are those chrome bumpers rare or what? I thought the bumper on the green one was in better shape and i would chrome it to match the grill...

If the white truck pictured is what you currently own, you might give thought to: 1)Getting some floorboard sections welded in 2)Putting an ad in the Parts Wanted section for a complete wiring harness 3)Fixing the leak in the tranny All these combined would probably add up to be much less than gett...

A real head scratcher!
I've got a 1966 Dodge 3/4 ton longbed that's in great shape on the outside...but there are problems! floorboards are rotted through along the door and up by the toe board,fuel gauge doesn't work,wirings hacked,(everything works,headlights,tailights etc.) transmission leaks and so on! all fixable but...

Today i went and gave my baby a bath (damn sexy truck) and when i got home i started checking things and noticed my heater doesn't work. does it need a new blower switch? i don't know. what i do know is that when you touch a live wire on the switch it works,pull it off and it dies and it only works ...

My 66's fuel gauge is not working. (always reading full) I took the truck to a friend and had em check it out and he said i need a sending unit. i know i have to pull the seat out but how do i get the unit out without damaging anything! do i use a screwdriver and hit it till it turns counterclockwis...

My 66' is rolling on 265/70/17's and the rims are 17x8. as far as rubbing,it's really not an issue unless i turn the big wheel as far as it'll go, but i just ease off a little

Just a picture of my '66 Dodge Custom 3/4 ton longbed pickup that i bought for $2,000 a few months ago.318 Poly w/ a 3 speed tourqflite. The floorpans are rusty,a couple of small holes but i'll fix that issue in the spring.
