I really like that. The reverse slanted windshield is just cool. Good on you for saving it.

What transmission do you have? Figuring out what others have done previously can be challenging sometimes. Trying to run an overdrive unit maybe. Where does the other wire go?

I run a Motorcraft on a Poly 318. A quick order for an adapter from Summit and you will be on your way.

Re: Kelsey Hayes brake controller
I have one on my Studebaker by choice and like it. I have seen far too many vehicles with destroyed brakes from a failed electronic controller. Give me simple and reliable anytime. Black is power in, blue is out to the trailer and red is for the brake lights. The knob should turn in and out to set t...

For anyone interested, these are the numbers that I came up with. Raybestos 2945R that I ended up purchasing through Amazon. The other number was from Auto Zone 80044.

Re: 2bbl Carter carburetor kickdown bracket.
I tossed the crap chinese Carter copy on my 62 that was missing the kickdown arm and replaced it with a Motorcraft 2100 series carb. Throttle and kickdown linkage attached as if it was designed for the truck. It starts easily and drives well, that series carb is one of the few things that Ford got r...

12.125 drum part number
Hi all, I need a good part number for the 12.125 x2 brake drums on the rear of my '62 D200. Napa, O’Reilly, Carquest, and Parts Authority have all been worthless. I have a Raybestos number of 2945R but nobody can get it. Is this a good number? Thanks.

Re: Push button stuck in "D"
Those aren't too hard to access. Take the face plate off, then the housing. The works should stay put. Clean, lube, poke around and you can see how it works. You might find a broken spring in there. Try the N button while helping the cable to move. Cleaning the one out on my 62 made a world of diffe...

Missing linkage
Well, I went and bought a second Swepty, a '62 V8 with the typewriter. Someone has installed a chineseium carb on it and it doesn't have the proper linkage for the kickdown lever. The rod is there with nothing to attach it to. Anyone have a pic of what is supposed to be there? A friend dropped off a...

Has your state gone to "oxygenated" winter fuel blend? Here in CA the I have that problem with most carburated vehicles with winter blend fuel.

Certainly sounds like an intake leak to me. I am going to guess intake manifold gasket and/or carb mounting gasket.

I have a Gravely 430 with the conversion to allow it to use the attachments from the walk behind L series. It is a super tractor, 4 speed with a dual range for 8 speeds total forwards and reverse. Pretty slick the way they pulled that off without going hydrostat.

Re: Heater cores the same w/wo AC and removal
I pulled my 71 mostly apart to remove years of oak leaves. It was pretty easy, a lot came apart from underneath. The blower is super simple, getting the nut out should be a 20 min job. Removing the glove compartment will help with access. Sorry that I don't know if the heater core is the same betwee...

Well, I am getting to the point on my '71 crew where I need to address the seats. Anyone know where the correct seat covers could be sourced? The truck is very original and I would like to keep it stock appearing if possible. Thanks
