Re: Anyone running a newer dodge pickup?

Curious as to what people are seeing as far as an average gas milage with the hemi in a 2500 or 4.7 in a half ton? Not sure what direction to go yet, but a guy would have to tow a whole lot to justify the extra cost of a Cummins.

Anyone running a newer dodge pickup?

Anyone have an 02 or newer Dodge 1500 or 2500 with a gas engine and manual transmission? I am looking into getting a 2500 with hemi and 6 speed. Anybody with any experience with these?

thanks

Re: Ethanol Free Fuel List

why ethanol free fuel? does ethanol ruin the engine? It is hard on your fuel system, hoses ect. Lool when you are at gas stations with 3 different nozzels, each dispensing a seperate grade. When you look up at the couplings that connect the hose to the "pump" the ones that dispencse ethanol oftern ...

Re: Warped rotors

Generally from what I have found recutting warped rotors does not work real well, however this depends on how much needs to be cut off. What brand were the pads and rotors? First jack the truck up and see if the wheels are turning freely. Usually once they are warped they are bad even when cool(firs...

Re: 2 ton jack enough?

I happen to also be in the market for a new floor jack, mine crapped out. I found some nice blackhawk jacks at Northern tool for fairly resonable prices, but they are not aluminum. Blackhawk has been around for a long time. As far as 2ton jack that would be more than adequete for most home garages, ...

More 727 and tailshaft questions

I am running a 400 with a 727 behind it, and it is out of a 73 d200. I fear it may not hold up much longer and I am going to start searching for a spare unit. My question is what is the best year to get one from (vehicles that had better units). Also, are the tailshafts interchangabe?

Looking good! :Thumbsup Are those 33s or 35s? 33s on 15x8 wheels, the only rubbing I have is on the drag link. The only lift is what the '85 front springs provided if any. I am looking to raise it up another 3-4 inches but I do not want to use rear blocks and I cannot find any rear springs that hav...
