Is it shot? Or does the nv4500 have a fifth gear? That would be nice.

This one must have been mentioned but I have to bring the race car haulers from Mongoose and the Sake movie back up. Very cool.

If I have an electronic ignition module can an internal resistor coil be used to eliminate the firewall mounted ballast? I know this has been talked about but I'm seeing youtube stuff that is now confusing.

clutch master emty.
I have my 66 w-100 out at property to work on some firewood. After a couple loads I felt the clutch pedal change a tiny bit but the truck still shifted fine. I continued to haul a couple more loads and even drove to the store and everything worked. Later I decided to check the oil radiator and maste...

Re: Saginaw Box
The rebuildable Saginaw has a big S looking raised bit if I remember correctly. I can't remember if you can see it while it's still mounted in truck.
As John said Bud will talk about it on the phone with you. He rebuilt mine and the truck went from scary to fun.

I don't think swapping springs and axles is a huge problem. Especially if you like the truck. Even if you have to move spring mounts which I do not think you do.

I looked on rock auto under 1970 and they had them not too long ago. Is it not the same part? 40 bucks. I bought 3. Probably china/mexico?

Is the 383 beyond a rebuild? I think it is cooler than a 440 from a motorhome.

Sounds like a cool truck. Is it the yellow one in pic? Once you figure out the problem you will have a good rig.

Its sounding like this engine is a 413. Lots of potential issues from what I hear.
