To easily confirm this, pump the brakes, then go out and take the cap off the master. Loosen the two nuts holding the master to the booster. If it'...

Re: 67 383 in a 71PW

Basic size and shape are the same. The water pump changes sides on the lower hose. I assume you mean the pump housing. Which one goes which way? Ah, once again you have caught me in a senior moment. :thinking Both 68 and 69 water pump housings would exit on the left. I think we would be dealing wit...

There is no shear load on these bolts, as there is a shoulder on the spindle that fits tightly into the knuckle bore.
I would assume that a brake would transmit angular shear through the bolts into the knuckle.
Ok,shear,I'll go with that. :joker

Re: Has anyone purchased parts from Dodge Connection website

I have ordered these for my first gen trucks... https://www.dodgeconnection.com/catalog/item/2901766/4541374.htm . They were separate orders, and though they were not super fast, they shipped within a week or so. I would try to contact them directly before the bank (or credit card company), otherwise...

Re: Converting 67 Dodge D300 from manual to power steering

Unlike the W300, the D300 used the same Saginaw steering gear as the D100/200. It uses a pitman arm and drag link unique to the d300. I had a 67 d300 with factory (Bendex) power steering.

Do oil pan and pick up matter? I don't see a cross member that would cause an issue.

Is it deeper, preference?
Center sump and straight axle = dented pan

Re: Looking for technical help and specs. Crews and general

From what I have seen, Sweptline era (1961-71) D and W 200 crew cab frames are the same height and thickness as regular 128" D and W 100 & 200 frames. I have seen D100 short wheelbase trucks with thinner frames. I have not seen any of the very early crew cabs that were converted regular cab trucks, ...
