Re: leather vs vinyl
Hey guys, I do custom auto interiors. Personally, I think leather is a waste of money. There are some very good quality vinyls available now. Most of the work I do is using a similated leather called Ultraleather. Its expensive, but it feels like expensive glove leather , and it will outlast and out...

I saw that too. I believe they ended up not going with that option, which is a shame, because we could have learned more. It's my understanding that you can purchase these printers for home use now, at reasonable prices.

Re: Body molding clips?
Im not aware of any, BUT, with the new 3D printers, I wonder if they can be reproduced on an "as needed" order basis?
That might be a money making opportunity for someone more tech savy than myself. Taking obsolete, unreproduced small parts, and doing them.

Re: Hello from Germany
Hey, In 2004, when I was working near Stuttgart, I attended a Mopar car show. I can't remember the name of the town, but it was a smaller town, north west of stuttgart, and I think it started with a D. Yall had some nice rides too.

Has anyone tried having them made with a 3D printer?
I have no idea about the cost though.

Re: 69-71 Heater Control nylon slider/pivots
Well, that brings up a subject that I've been wondering about; 3D printing. This may have been discussed here before, but I was wondering mainly about side trim clips, but of course the applications for our obsessions could go way beyond that. Does anybody have any knowledge about that technology an...

Re: Late Model Wheels
hey guys, I scored a used set of weld drag lites, or maybe a knock of brand copy of them, because I don't see any brand name on them anywhere. But anyway, that's fine too. So, anyway, my question is: What size tires?? the wheels are 15"'s and they are 6"wide for front and 8" for the rear. My truck s...

Re: Who else has a Challanger?
My wife bought a new Challenger this summer. It's just a V6, but she loves it, and I like driving it myself. Even though it's a 6 cylinder, other cars are always pulling up next to us and revving their engines. We just laugh at them. But hey, the car is very comfortable and is built well.

Re: Dodge Trucks in the movies and TVs
Please forgive me if somebody already posted it, but, in the movie " Million Dollar Baby", there's a swepty in the scene where Clint Eastwood is pumping gas and the Girl boxer sees a young girl holding a puppy while sitting inside a sweptline parked on the other side of the pumps. Then she smiles......
