Re: 426 Street Wedge for CSS/HPP
Looking at the casting number it is a 426 wedge. Production dates of 64-66 and with a casting number of 2532230-1 the -1 means you have the first run of that cast which is really good. which means that the cyl walls should be pretty thick. No mention of it being for a truck and I dont think they sta...

Thats a 7.25 lug pattern.
Sorry you are stuck with the split rims. Nobody makes replacement dual wheels. Stockton Wheel does make singles that will work.

Re: truck wont start, no lights either
Here is an idea you can try. I have done this when I haven't been able to find a short. Disconnect the bulkhead connectors from the cab wiring so the engine compartment is isolated from the rest of the truck. Hook up the battery and watch for smoke from the melting wires. If it is shorted to ground ...

Re: In Search of an axle
its been a looong time hasn't it. Life gets in the way sometimes. Big John is in storage because I moved to a new place with more room for projects as soon as I can build a shop. I thought a cab chassis axle would be a direct replacement. I did some research and it looks like rear dually hubs for a ...

Re: 318 Questions
John, are you sure about the /6 and 318 having the same bell housing? I thought the /6's were all there own then the A and LA series were one and then the B and RB blocks are one. I have a /6 bell but not a haydraulic and it is quite different that any of the small block bells I have. Just wonderin...

Re: truck wont start, no lights either
Eric, can you post some pictures of your battery cables and starter and relay? You can take a test light and with the positive cable hooked to your positive post of the battery use the test light as a jumper from your negative post and the negative battery cable. You will need a small pair of vice g...

Looking for a truck
Hey Guys, Several years ago there was an artical of a yellow W300 step side out in the Cali desert. It looks like the one that is on the T shirts through Cafe' press. This truck had wagon spoke wheels the suspension had been swapped out to a later model design and had a 440 with a lot of mods done. ...
