I put helper springs on my 64 D100. $120, 3 hours, lifted my truck back up to original height and maybe a tad higher. Bought the Rough Country kits from JC Whitney http://www.jcw.com rides a bit stiff, more like a 3/4 TON.

My 64 d100 318 was turquoise too. I found paint at Summit Racing. Chrysler dealer would only sell it by the case. Click on this link

New Tires on D100
I decided to go with larger tires 30 x 9.5 x 15 on the rear and 205/75-15 on the front. I got the taller gearing I wanted with the reat tires at 29.8" o.d. and the narrow front tires are easy to steer with manual steering. I'll probably catch alot of grief over this: Are any of these brake or steering conversions "engineered"? Seems like there should be some kind of DOT approval process involved or at least an approval or certification from a Professional Engineer. Not like they are selling seat covers or floor mats. ...

The max pressure for the Power King Premium Super Highway is 45 psi. I tried different pressures but these things are going to shake the windshield out of my truck. They have a memory sitting in a 65 deg garage overnite with a huge flat spot that does not go away after 10 miles. The first mile or so...

Power King Premium Super Highway (Made in China)7.00-15 LT's Load Range C are installed. Tire dealer had them inflated to 40 psi, felt like rocks but steering much lighter and gearing taller as I wanted. I lowered pressure to 28 psi, helped soften the ride. Any suggestions on tire pressure without a...

I use it for hauling. Not too often, weekend stuff like lumber, mulch and firewood. That's a nice looking truck you have. I went ahead and sandblasted and painted my stock wheels. Pretty sure I'm going with 7.00-15 6 ply. Local tire store is getting some for me to look at. What do you think of these...

Trey, Data plate shows 3.5 axle, don't think it's been changed. Thanks for the size info, I haven't ruled out the aftermarket wheels. How much braking efficiency do I lose with those 31" tall tires. I've also thought about going the vintage tire route like Coker, but they are kinda salty and bias ti...
