That limb was this one marked with the red X after all the limbs below were dropped.

I rented an 80' articulating lift. No winch. Gotta start clearing low, so nothing higher up hangs up on the plummet down. Fall colors from 80 feet up in the air, some of the leaves match the 1970 D300 below.
Limb at upper left was hanging over my shop, it topped out at around 95 feet, but it is safely on the ground now. :-)

More outer surface tube area equals extra heat dissipation.
The last time I added a transmission cooler for a truck, I ordered one for a school bus. I plumbed it into the loop after the radiator tank had done the 'pre-cooling'.

I brought a Dana 70 from a 1st Gen. Cab / Chassis dually today, I'll get photos with measurements soon.

383 4-speed is the dream combination in my book, 318 4-speed as a second.
With tall tires swapping to a 440 auto would lead to a lot of work you may be very disappointed in.
If anything (with the taller tires in mind) install lower gears in the differentials.
