The 1969 model year was the last for turquoise, blue started with the 1970 model year.

I LOVE the utiline 9' bed trucks.

Re: 71 Sweptline Bed Strips Long Bed Help

I plan on using rough cut red oak for the bed floor for a rustic look.

You may not have known, but your '77 is a Sweptline, just the updated body style. See the page about the 1977 Dodge truck models at https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/im ... s_0015.jpg

Re: Ram man disc brakes

My only personal experience with him..... The Nats in Columbus, I was interested in a disc brake kit for one of my cars. I found his swap spot, but he had 3 people in line, 1st one was completing a transaction. I spotted some parts I was interested in at the next space, so I stepped over. 2nd guy in...

That limb was this one marked with the red X after all the limbs below were dropped.

After that the was crown topped, then firewood size chunks on the bared trunk down to the ground.

Re: My #1 Mopar rule - If it follows me home, I get to keep it. 🙂

I rented an 80' articulating lift. No winch. Gotta start clearing low, so nothing higher up hangs up on the plummet down. Rig the proper sling, slice, let the cut swing using the trunk as an anchor point. Then drop down & cut it into smaller pieces as it hangs. Clear the sling, recycle the gear, the...

Fall colors from 80 feet up in the air, some of the leaves match the 1970 D300 below.

Limb at upper left was hanging over my shop, it topped out at around 95 feet, but it is safely on the ground now. :-)

Maybe if I can find a long box stepside, I'll switch.
I like that idea. You may be able to trade someone local if you list an ad that way?

Re: Riddle me this?

Larger diameter line;

Produces more fluid capacity.

More outer surface tube area equals extra heat dissipation.

The last time I added a transmission cooler for a truck, I ordered one for a school bus. I plumbed it into the loop after the radiator tank had done the 'pre-cooling'.

Re: Has anyone swapped in a newer Dana 70?

I brought a Dana 70 from a 1st Gen. Cab / Chassis dually today, I'll get photos with measurements soon.

It looks like moving the perches is the only obstacle. If so, cakepiece.

Re: Switching from auto to manual

383 4-speed is the dream combination in my book, 318 4-speed as a second.

With tall tires swapping to a 440 auto would lead to a lot of work you may be very disappointed in.

If anything (with the taller tires in mind) install lower gears in the differentials.

Re: Front clip

A front clip would include the inner & outer fenders.

It sounds like you need what is called the radiator support?
