Replacement steering and suspension parts drying out?
I've recently started searching for parts again to begin my project and was shocked to find that a lot of the suspension/steering parts previously (easily) available for a reasonable price has almost disappeared. Has anyone else noticed this? what the heck's going to happen years from now when those...

Re: JEEPS OR, How to spend a TON of money!
I have an 89 Comanche as a side project/daily driver, it's not even 4x4 and it STILL drains a lot of my money but I love the whole "different" idea,,,,one of the reasons I have my swepty also

Sweptline owner gunned down
I woke up today and the news reported a homicide in Pacoima CA, I was shocked to see a sweptline on the news report, I really hope justice is served.

pros and cons of A100 trucks?
I was wondering if you guys can share with me the pro's and con's of owning an A100 pickup, I've been in the market for one for a long time I currently have an 89 Jeep Comanche 2WD 4.0/AW4 (Auto tranny 4 speed O.D) I've been fixing up little by little that I'd be wiling to sell or do a partial trade...

saginaw tilt steering column in a 66 D100?
Has any one ever customized a Saginaw tilt steering column (without shifter) to a swepty? I'm assuming it wouldn't be too difficult to make it work, I would keep the ignition lock cylinder on the dash and make a custom jacket just to keep the clean look, any input is welcome.

Re: Scarebirds terrible customer service
I understand how hectic it can be in the sales business(I'm in it myself) and understand some people are extremely impatient and can't be reasoned with, but I'm not asking them to bend over backwards for me just a simple status update would be enough.

Scarebirds terrible customer service
Has anyone in this forum dealt with scarebird's so called tech/customer service? I've sent many emails to those guys regarding a return I made and a question I had about their hubs for my D100, they are by far the WORST company I've done business with as far as support goes, has anyone else had a si...

Re: Doing King Pins on my D100.......
Looks great!!! where did you get the tool? how was the outcome? I worked at a shop for a while and we used to send kingpins out to be reamed and they ALWAYS came back either too tight or sloppy or wouldn't line up.

Guess I'll just have to try it myself and see what my own experience is like,I was planning on rebuilding the whole front suspension anyway but it's still going to be what it is, I wanted other peoples views on the issue

Re: True daily driven swepty
I kind of figured I drove a 52 Plymouth when I was working for a shop and was very surprised at how easy it was to turn the wheel considering the weight, I'm sure the gigantic steering wheel had a lot to do with it though.
