Re: Camp In My Truck?????
I've over nighted in my truck while camping Blanket and a pillow out under the stars. The plan for may truck was going to be to make a nice wooden topper like the old ones from the 60s. Wood covered in sheet metal with lots of marker lights and camper windows. I would have gotten a platform in the b...

Yeah that's lace on the hood. There was supposed to be more on the rest of the truck but we ran out of spray paint. It was a bored on a saturday night kinda thing. I eventually added the tiki torches to the back to even out the look.

Re: The Good and the Bad
To fast in a bad corner and I corrected left then right then left and right again. On the last right it was sideways with the back tires in the dirt. Back tire dug in and the wheel caught in the front and over she went. Rolled once landed on her wheels and rolled back into the ditch into a fence. Th...

The Good and the Bad
What do you want first the good news or the bad news?
We'll start with the good.
I went to the Iola car show this year, and saw this...
The bad.
The next day I took a corner to fast and ended up with this.

Broken tailgate?
I don't want one. How much can these tailgates take. I've had my truck backed up tho the campfire with three people sitting on the tailgate and I was getting worried. How hard is it to bend one?

Re: What can I do in my Sweptline
I'd love to make it out for that. I went to school out in Denver for a year and have friends there to visit. I just don't Know if the truck will be up for it by then or what my school schedule here will be like. One things for sure is my trucks not making the Wisconsin-Colorado trip as slow as it di...

Re: smooth bumper
I think it looks quite impressive. I also think it might look great with some of the Mods I have planned for my truck. If you have more pictures of when you were building it I'd like to see them, if you don't mind someone borrowing our great idea.

Could someone photoshop a pair of corvair van headlights onto a 65 d100?? That's my plan anyways maybe white outside yellow inside. Actually If someone is good with the photoshop I have a plan I'd like to mess around with if they want a project. I really do miss having photoshop ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

I'm thinking that's what i have to do. might try to add a tach tomorrow. along with a bracket for my Gps which will take over speedometer duties at least for the time being. Still don't know what to do for a temperature gauge.

Cigarette Lighter/Radio
My truck had a cigarette lighter and a radio but the base for the lighter was gone and there aren't any wires that look to go to either. Someone showed me the wiring diagram for the 65s but it didn't show where you would hook up either. If some one could tell me the best place to wire these in that'...

Re: New here New truck
Yes I was grounding the sending unit wire but the gauge didn't do anything. I'll have to look into getting a new speedo when I get home. Might just get a Gps to read out the speed for the trip back. hopefully I can find the old power wire for the radio and cigarette lighter. I want to get power to t...
