Swepty caps?

I doubt my Swepty will see much winter use being a one wheel drive. I was thinking since it isn't going anywere, that I'd like to put on a cap and store my lawn tractor out in it. My question is......will your average full size aluminum truck cap fit? You know, like the kind that are nearly free tha...

I have an A 833 OD that I'd like to put in mine. I just need to know what to do about the bellhousing. Is there a bell with the hydralic slave cylinder provision and A-833 bolt pattern??

Well.........if you don't take those pups, some jerk will. I'm a Mailman and have always been surprised at the amount of friendly pit bulls I've encountered.

My Buick is running crappy too!

Re: How to fix cab sag?

While there is no replacement for good metal work, you can make your swepty look better in about a half hour. Check out mine. I'm planning on some major metal work over winter, but till then, I had to do something about the sagging rear of the cab. I had some thick washers laying around with a small...

Drove mine today. I bought it to use as a truck, and when I need to haul.....it comes out.

Its a parts truck. I understand he just scraped another and I missed it. Its like two hours from me, so for me to tow it back might blow the budget...unless its dirt cheap.

Thanks! I suspected they didn't belong. However, they may stay. I bought this truck to use as a truck, so they may come in handy. Plus, I really don't think they look bad.

Thanks! I thought that wasn't what I needed. But I was unsure. I'm looking for the part thats part of the cab. My mount on the frame looks great. I'm not having any luck yet.

Is this what I want for front cab mounts?

I saw this page on vintage Power Wagons. I need front cab mounts and thats what they call the Support, Cowl pillar to underbody. But...I'm looking at it and it just doesn't look like the part that welds to the cab floor. Is it?

I suspected there might be. Thanks for confirming. Can anyone tell me if the alternate bolt pattern matches an A 833?

67 D200 Bell housing question

My 67 Camper special has the slant six and the four speed manual with creeper. I checked the tranny bolt pattern to see if by any chance it was the same as an A833. Its not. But...by any chance does that bell have multipal bolt patterns under there?

Re: Hello.

Got it! I picked it up Friday night. Runs like a top. It has the common rust out of the rockers and the front cab mounts. But I'm a good welder and decent fab man, so I'm not bugged. Immediate plans? 1, The mirrors got to go! 2, Locate a pair of steelies and the correct hubcaps Future plans? Slowly ...

I'll have to check that since its definatley coming from the column. I do have to repair the rockers and the front cab mounts so this is a possibility. Thanks!

1967 steering box adjustments.

If all goes well, I'll bring home the 67 Camper Special tonight. Its a 2wd with manual steering. Its groaning in the steering column, but its been suggested to me that may be feedback from the box. I've read a tiny little Chilton book on the adjustments, but it says 1967-69 can only have the cross-s...

Re: Hello.

Thanks for the welcome! It is manual steering. Shouldn't be to hard to pull the column apart. Now I just wait till Friday.
