Question for a dummy.
I upgraded my rear axle to disc brakes. Thinking of having posi trac rear gears installed. What does this take? Just replacing the internals?

the only part of them that I dont really like is where you can see the "ripples" in the bend there. Can someone snap a close up of that so I can see how bad it "really" is

Thank you, I was wanting to keep the 70-71 door handle and figure a way to use the earlier door panel. But this may be what I do if that isn't very easy

door panel swap
When having my truck pained I had the earlier steel door panels painted to match my truck and the door handle welded up. Hoping to use these on my 71. Has anyone ever done this? The panels on my 71 are the fiberglass ones that have the arm rest mount built in and the hole sticks out for door handle....

It seems nobody makes the "vent cap" thats inside the cowling...does anyone know of a lid off something else that will fit it? I am just going to cap mine off to keep it from getting water in. Like a coffee can lid???

Oklamopar...thank you for the pics I think I do like the recatangle heads better...they look like they "fit" our boxy trucks...what did you mean they are about 1 inch bigger over all??
