Re: Clutch specs

if the levers are not even they didnt rebuild it right. they need to be set to an exact spec! all the springs should be the same color. they stiffness of the springs are color coded. i had one done where they mixed up springs and it was not even drivable.

Re: Exhaust question

When I installed the original style 318 Poly in my 66 W100 it had no exhaust at all. A competent muffler shop custom built the exhaust from the Y Pipe to tip exiting out the right rear just as it was originally done. He used bending patterns from a book they had. I couldn't have been more pleased w...

Re: Engine Intermittently shuts off

one visual inspection you can do on a coil is pull the wire and check for oil in tower and the other is check and see if the bottom of the coil is bulging out. should be flat. if either of those two things are happening its bad

Re: Is this for real?

That does seem odd. I have seen a decline on most Dodge Power Wagon & Sweptline sites....and never figured the traffic would be what it once was. Bucky I have seen the decline too. I think its because everyone is going to fb pages. i really don't like fb pages compare to forums. Forums are 1000 tim...

Re: Generator Smoking! Need help with aftermath...

61 should have alternator?? maybe in Canada they came later? I would take it off and have it tested. its free to test. Generators are way tougher than alternators when it comes to shorts and environmental things like water and dust. also they dont require a voltage source to function.
