New DodgeSweptline.org URL

No disrespect intended to Scott, but many of you here also participate at the Dodge Sweptline . org site as well as here. Many of you will know that Bravenet played a big Aprils Fool trick on us, while I was traveling during Easter Vacation, Bravenet changed the entire format, without notice, withou...

Re: NP205 rebuild kits

Ebay item #230206461882 is a gasket/seal kit for your np201. sorry it doesn't have the bearings though. I think that is Sweptline .org member dc. Its a good price, and cups and races are easy to find. He has the kit with bearings too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/POWER-WAGON-W100-200-300-TRANSFER-...

Re: Eddy Performer or Performer RPM for a Poly318?

There is a LOT better way than running that exhaust system, buy a set of the DTA Poly Headers....asDieter has already done...= ) Dieter, have you emailed Gary about his intake project? It appears that Edelbrock is in no hurry. I contacted BOTH Offenhauser and Holley, neither were interested in re-bu...

Re: Engine tranny combos

I have to chime in and hope you see this, Irish70 did some research and found out that the 5 speed from a Dakota would bolt up to a slant/6. Me personally if I was to go with a 4 speed I'd just get one out of a car from the same era, for the 4th gear isn't overdrive, their is no difference between ...

Re: Header fitment

I'm looking at a set of headers for a 72-87 W100-W200. Does anyone know any reason why these wouldn't fit a '71?? There looks to be plenty of room. Back on topic...= ) The starter, crossmember and steering locations are different on 1972 and later Dodge Trucks. And sadly you cannot use these 318 A ...

Re: Challenger #43 on ebay

Nice! One of a kind as in one car that color? One of a kind as in the only serial number 43, in Petty Blue, signed by Kyle and the King. Number 0000001 went for $400,000 at Barrette-Jackson, so this looks like a bargain compared to that. The Challengers for the masses won't be delivered until 2009....

Thank You!

A week ago I asked everyone at DodgeSweptline.org (the DTA site) to visit my blog at the Chrysler LLC website, and to post a response, if so inclined. Just wanted to thank those who did. It was most gratifying and I believe it raised some eyebrows at Chrysler. The responses set a 24 hour record at C...

Re: Replace Poly with 360

Good to see some Poly wisdon here! You'd need a sweet running 360 to match a Poly's performance and fuel economy, Get that carb fixed or replaced. For the price of the 360, adapters, etc. you can put a lot of HP parts into that Poly. http://photos.imageevent.com/moparnorm/projectfile/websize/Poly%20...

It's too early for anyone, including the folks who run Cerberus, to know what is going to happen, but, based upon their track record, they have a history of improving and holding onto their acquisitions. Yes they may close under performing operations, but they don't have a history of chopping up and...
