Re: Any sweptline model kits out there?
I hope I have this info correct as it's been a while since I bought these. The 100 reg cab and crew cab without the front wheel flares are from RMR. The pic just shows the crew parts the rest are the same as the reg cab kit. The other crew is from Fink's. The red one is a RMR that I modified to a '6...

I find it strange that you could not get one on a new car at the time, but they are listed(both cars and trucks) in the parts book.

Re: Is this truck rare?
Interesting info in the '70 price booklet. The auto trans has a msrp of 257.30, the 445 was 128.10 and the 435 102.30. The 3 spd A230 was standard.
The '69 price booklet does not show the auto trans being a option on the W series.

Re: did any d100's come with buckets?
They were an option. As for verifying it , having original paperwork is about the only way. Would be nice if there were a fender tag like the cars had to show some of the options.

Re: Blue Paint 68 D100
Take the truck or a painted pce to the supplier. Have them use a color reader to scan it.
it's not 100 % accurate but will get you in the right direction.

I have a vhs with that truck making a pass. It was one of the many tapes that included a bunch of vintage car commercials. No doubt it is on you tube.

Re: Stock Reflectors
Mark has it right. I only have the one book that covers 1968( dated april 1969). Under that date printed it states it supersedes three other parts book.
For the 69-71 book , The parts person kept all the update pages along with the instructions of what page the new one supersedes.

Re: Stock Reflectors
Those part numbers I listed are in the '68 parts book. Notations beside the part number indicate a new listing.
They are not shown in the body illustrations.
Must be a mid model year change as there are a few "up to serial # xxxx - after serial # xxxx" for other side lights.

Not a whole lot of choices. Here's a page out of the 69-71 parts book.
Not all these were available for '69.
