Re: Dodge Trucks in the movies and TVs

The movie is Bunny O'Hare . The 2 main characters practically live in a Sweptline so it is shown in about 90% of the movie. It is a light Green 70-71 D200 Adventurer with a small camper on the back. The truck looks kind of rough for being in a movie that was filmed in 1971. I think they just lightl...

Yes, they were made in L600 and L700 flavors. I've been a big fan of these trucks since they were introduced.

Re: My Latest Victim

Nice work on the interior. I don't recall seeing any hot rodded hudson coupes before and I think its a nice car.
Having said that, the "rat rod" term has been beaten to death, thats not really a rat rod but a nicely done hot rod finished in hot rod black.
Its still a cool piece. -pauly

Re: What a beast!!

I'm going back and check the mileage, I'm guessing its pretty low since, besides terrible rust, it's body and especially the box are arrow straight.

What a beast!!

Spotted this in Honolulu near my plumbing supply store today. I could hardly believe since it wasn't there a couple months ago when I was there the last time, but this appeared since then. It was on private property with nobody around so I didn't want to be too snoopy, but I took a quick look at it ...

Re: I put some new shoes on my Valiant today.

My buddy lives in spokane and drives a tow truck, I told him if he ever gets over to spauldings to look for a set of these mustang wheels for me. Well, as luck would have it, an 08 bullitt mustang came in to his yard and he bought the car for the wheels at the auction. One rim is in bad shape, but ...

Re: I put some new shoes on my Valiant today.

I used 3/4" spacers on the back until i found a B-body rear and slipped that under the car. Now my wheels are perfectly centered so i'm looking into going with 18x9 wheels.
I also needed to hog the center registers out a bit to fit over the larger mopar centers. These are Cobra R wheels.

Nice cars!!
I'm getting close to the finish line with mine, one of those projects that starts small and quickly explodes into a major deal.
mine's a little newer, but I love the early Valiants as well. My first one was a '62 ...

Re: Dodge Trucks in the movies and TVs

Watched a good movie the other night called "Thunderheart" with Val Kilmer. it was filmed in the badlands of n. dakota. There was a really nice crew parked in a field at the old indian's place. looked to be a 68 and was in damn nice shape for an abandoned truck. good flick too!!
