Re: Check out this wantabe!

not really a lot that can be said but maybe " how STUPID can you be?" the same thing occurs to me when i see dodges with transformers stickers in the back window. the only dodges in that movie were on the used car lot where bumblebee was found. HELLO CLUELESS. it was a GM advertisement

Re: ignition timing

got or borrow one of those fancy timing lights that will tell you where you are timed at and look at your marks then, that will tell you if your marks have slipped(cheaper than buying a new balancer). then time by marks. if you borrow a fancy light and your marks have moved then you can put your own...

Re: I need help!!

if they are aftermarket wheels(not stock dodge). then they are built with a center bore to accomadate the largest hub in the bolt pattern they are built with. the big concern here is that the charger/300/magnum uses a front wheel drive offset. depending on the width of the rim(8", 9", 10"). you may ...

Re: Changing from left hand to right hand thread

the stock studs are available. i bought 10 a couple weeks ago. all rh thread. the originals are more than likely swedged in. i knocked them back a little then ground the backs off of them and knocked them out through the front. a little more work but if your drums are still good and you want to keep...

Re: Jumpy Timing Mark

i have used that engine in two of my pre emissions vehicles and both have had this same issue. your timing chain is way too loose. i replaced mine and the timing mark quit jumping around. easier starts. better throttle response. just plain better all around. good luck

Re: Adding Power Brakes to 68 D-100 AND converting to Disc

i just finished this conversion on my 68 d100. easy easy easy. i used a booster, master, and proportioning valve from a 77 that i scrapped. but for all that i bought i think i was in the conversion just under $400. that included calipers(wrecking yard), rebuild kits for them, rotors, caliper bracket...

Re: Crown Victoria front IFS swap?

it looks good my only question is what is the original height of of the upper arm in relation to the lower. it looks like he just bolted them to the top of the frame rail. that may be fine if the measurements are right but if they arent it will screw with the geometry and may make it impossible to a...

if you end up rebuilding there is a pioneer kit that has both bands and all clutches and seals avilable at partsamerica.com for +-$60. i bought one for my 75 ramcharger. about two days to get it. easy to do. especially with the book that is listed above. good luck -Randy
