Very unfortunate. I also have noticed the decline. Its seems in the Facebook Groups that constantly someone is posting for people to join a new group.
All that does is take away from actual forums and spread it around.

Well the 9.25 axle swap has hit the wall. I am running wide wheels and the 9.25 axles are just a little too wide. I would have entertained narrowing one but nobody currently makes the fixtures for that axle.

Have you tried jumping starter relay to see if it turns over. Ballast has nothing to do with engine not turning over.
If it turns over then check at switch and wiring to relay.
