5.7/6.1 hemi in a 67 d100
Hey All, just spoke with my NEW machinist. Seems the machine shop that built my 383 F***ed everything up. Got 4000 miles out of it. So now I'm trying to figure out how to get the CSS back on the road. I have a bunch of stuff but the only new/ rebuilt motor is a 72 360. Don't really want to go there....

Re: 67 1 ton dually
Thanks everyone. Wally, you saved me a trip. I owe you a Yoohoo at the next HoCo swap.Guy told me it was his dad's truck and wanted 950.00. I told him that I'd look at it but based on Randy's findings I'd say after some parts it may end up in a Chinese engine block

Re: Front wheel hub
Thanls WD and TX,thanks for the info. After monkeying around with it I figured thats what I would have to do. The only problem now is I need studs that are a little longer. I dont like the number of threads engaged on my torqthrusts. Guess I'll have to hit the machine shop ( or throw a Fatman kit on...

Re: Front wheel hub
Hi Sooper, so everytime a drum needed to be replaced you had to replace the studs? There is no knurl for a reason. Mine just tapped out with a hammer.
Thanks for the response.

Front wheel hub
Hey All, can someone explain the front wheel studs on my D100 1967? Are they designed to pop in and out for drum replacement? I tried to convert to RH thread yesterday with what Rock Auto said was replacement studs. The new ones are knurled and the old ones are not and just kind float there. Any inf...

413 long ram/short ram intakes on a sweptline?
Hey All, no, I'm not dead- just been busy selling the race car and parts. Question- has anyone put a set of long or short ram intakes on a sweptline? I've always liked the look and kicking around the idea of putting them on the CSS. Info/ pix/comments/ girlfriends pictures, etc. appreciated :dance Bob

saw your truck, didn't see you. Carb is still out- ran like crap and it was hot and humid. I am quite disappointed in myself. Go to my room.

Hey guys, he supposedly replaced the dist cap, as for the computer not sure. I did notice most of the engine compartment had a reddish dust on it. I've seen that before when wall receptacles blow up

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a truck that the owner watered down with a garden hose( degreasing the 318). It's a 89 d150 with TBI. What needs to be replaced?
ECM? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Just got my MCG yesterday, what a great article and edition. I'll have to bring it to Carlisle for Ben to autograph :Thumbsup And that 71 sunroof Charger is just what I've always wanted. It looks sweet with the Cragars. I could really rack up the miles in that one. I need a sunroof car. Good job Ben...
