great engines but I think its never really done because you can build slant 6 to have lots of power cheap and 318s are plenty powerful and low cost. the 4.0 doesnt get very good mileage either. and wont outlast a slant 6 or 318 with hardened valve seats. if you have hot spark, no ballast resistor issues, and no sign of life whatsoever then you must not have hot spark. :)

if the plugs are all firing, you should have sign of life of some sort. you have tried moving distributor around while cranking, no doubt

once you got spark, toss cup or two of gas down carb and spin.

no amount of towing is going to make up for no fuel. wouldn't be first rusted gas tank and fuel lines.
