Re: new box power steering

Kurt, I am still following along, hope I am better by summer to install this box. As I said in one past post there are companies that make custom pitman arms. Here is a link to one that does forged units for cars to large trucks. http://www.powersandsonsllc.com/pitman_arm.HTML I do not know how the ...

Re: new box power steering

Kirk,

It is a real shame in todays world we have to be so paranoid. Like you I have lots of ideas but not worth it unless you can afford the insurance.

Towing

I responded to a topic about moving a truck. I just got another brainy idea. Start a topic about funny towing stories, I still have a couple to laugh at so here it comes ready or not. :thinking We like to camp with a tent trailer during the 90. We had a 86 Buick full size wagon and my 72 Dodge work ...

Maybe, until we are in trouble and need a new tank or NASA needs a Saturn type rock or work on a top secret project . Do you really think a outside company is going to have our best interest at heart. Or CEO take a dollar a year salary like upper management did during the second world war. Of course...

Re: new box power steering

Kurt, That sounds like it could work even better than I thought. On the direction of rotation I would be susprised that it is not the same as a sweptline. These boxes all mounted just after the firewall. It should be not much of a problem if they do not want to make a spacer for a person to make his...

Re: Just had to vent.

Hi Ed, My wife has swelling in the legs periodically that the doctors can't explain. One thing that helps a lot is riding a bicycle, even the stationary bike for a half hour in the late morning seems to make a great improvement. I guess it pumps the fluid up and mixes it so the kidneys can expel th...

Re: Just had to vent.

Ed, Is there any way to get a hold of you in the next couple days? I live in the Vancouver area but will be leaving for an extended period early Sunday AM. I was down at the VA recently myself. I only went there to get a VA card. I didn't know where to go and was directed to the VFW. They talked me...

What a bummer I find myself in. For the last year I have been having problems with swelling in my legs. After a couple trips to the hospital I am in a VA rehab trying to get the swelling under control and heal my legs. Yes this is agent orange doing its thing after 40 years. This has put a real damp...
