Re: Pictures of the 1970 Fargo W300 Crew Cab
It's been so long ago now I'm not 100% sure, but I want to say they removed just under 4' to make it a short wheelbase truck.

Re: Pictures of the 1970 Fargo W300 Crew Cab
It was a conversation piece for sure....but it wasn't very practical. It turned like an aircraft carrier.

Re: Pictures of the 1970 Fargo W300 Crew Cab
Hey, thanks so much for the pics. The truck had to put on hold a few times as the oil patch crashed up here in Canada. I did manage to find a sweet short sweptline box for it in the same color. There are 2004 ford leather seats on the inside. It's been a long slow go. I'm picking away at it slowly a...

Hey there, I have a quick question. I'm wondering if the rear view mirror in the newer Dodge Rams are a stand alone unit? Can I just glue it to an sweptline windshield and have the compass, temp (I realize there will be a sensor for this) as well as the auto dim features? Or is the compass run from ...

Re: Fargo Crew Cab W300 Lastest Pics
Thanks for all of the feedback guys. That is what keeps me going. The CTD fit actually pretty good so far. I cut the firwall because I wanted to use the intercooler. It wouldn't fit even with electric fans. The frame is wide enough to leave the CTD factory A/C in it's original location. Cool hey (so...

Re: Fargo Crew Cab W300 Lastest Pics
Doug, No plans for the original parts. It didn't have a poly, just LA 318 ran pretty good, Granny 4 speed, original T/C (don't know model) and Dana 70's with 4:88s (brakes were just rebuilt so I was told). If some one needs them let me know. They can have them cheap!!!!! They are in ALberta Canada b...

Fargo Crew Cab W300 Lastest Pics
Here are the latest pics of the 1971 Fargo Crew Cab. The CTD is sitting in the frame, motor mounts to come. The 2007 Dodge one ton front diff is almost complete. Those are 2006 Power Wagon wheels just leaned up against the hubs. Let me know what you think, honestly.

When was the last time you saw one of these?
Found some interesting old parts trucks. One is a 1958 Fargo Short box Fleetside ( were they called Sweptlines back then too??) The red one is for me, it's going on the crewcab. If anyone is interested let me know. They are located in Alberta Canada. I can contact seller if so desired.

1970 Fargo W300 Crew Cab New Pictures
Here are some new pics of the truck with the "hillbilly Motorhome" removed and the frame shortened to 146". I hope you like it. I've found a step side bed off of a 1950 Fargo. I have to see if it will fit. It's getting ready to receive the 1997 Cummins, NP4500 and married T/C, and 2007 Dodge front a...

W300 Power Steering Conversion
Hello, Has anybody seen or heard of adding power steering to a W300 with a steering box mounted infront of the axle. Apperently alot of the newer rigs are done this way. Just wondering if anyone has done or seen this. If so which box works the best and from what donors work the best. Thanks, Foddie.

W300 pics required
Hello, This may seem like a silly request , but I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of a W300 with a sweptline box on it. I want to know how the body lines match up and/or if the box is wide enough (or are they the same width). Starting a crew cab cummins conversion and need to get a plan for the b...

Dana 70 Disc Brakes
Hello, I'm desperately seeking a disc brake conversion for front and rear Dana 70's from a 1970 W300 (fronts for sure, I guess the rear can wait). Ray from http://www.Uglytruckling.com won't have any for 4 months. If someone had a kit laying around that they didn't require for a while, I would pay y...

Aftermarket A/C for a 1970 W300
Hello Everyone, Has anyone installed aftermarket A/C in a W300. If so what brand and model fits best (under the dash). This is a 12V Cummins conversion so I'm looking for advice on how to mount the Compressor on the motor. I heard there may not be enough room to keep it in it's stock location. So al...
