I would be interested in investigating this. A couple questions then: What would the correct wheel/tire combo been for a 71 Adventurer SE? And also, how would the steering have varied between a 71 D-100 and a W-100? A big reason I am concerned is the previous owner told me it had been relocated, and...

It sets low without a load, but gets worse with a load., see below. It was easy to control while driving, but doesn't look good at all. Granted the hitch was on the bumper and not dropped. The car is about 4000# and the trailer about 2000#. the car is more centered than it appears, wide angle lens o...

Does this setup look right? PICS

Keep in mind this is a 71 with an 86 suspension and 4x4 upgrade. Here is the rear first. It sets about 3" lower than the front. The spring pack looks a little light to me. I thought I saw some pics that showed the 4x4 should have about 6 leafs in the lower part. http://nfury8.halofx.com/images/misc/...

I am not sure if they will hual a cab only, but try L. D. Transport in Indiana. They moved a 69 Fury for me from Vegas to Kansas City for $500. They had excellent communication and easy to deal with. They run a regular route between LA and Detroit.

Just got back from a week in Denver/Colorado Springs. I was amazed at all the Dodges I saw!! My wife got tired quick of me constantly commenting when I spotted them. Next time we go I plan on taking the Sweptline and try to do some parts hunting! I have family in Brighton and Littleton.

More info and pics

The front axle has the Warn Lock-Outs on it, forgot about that. There is some strange stuff going on with the front. The Steering gear box is on the inside of the frame, and attaches to a shock absorber looking piston that connects to the drag link with a couple U-clamps. But then there is also what...

I was able to get a hold of a 83 Factory Service Manual and determine that it has the 208 case. It does also have disc brakes, which look near identical to the pair I pulled off of a 73 Fury. Unfortunatley, I am realizing the job was only half done. The rear parking brakes aren't hooked up, the cabl...

Help Identifying Transfer Case & Suspension

I recently purchased a 71 D-100 that has been converted to 4 Wheel Drive with what I am told is the suspension and drive line from a 86. However, I don't know for certain which Transfer case it has, or how to tell. I also would like some help identifing whether a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton suspension was us...
