I use rotella 15/40 for diesels as most diesels have flat tappets and still need zinc

well I have spent the last thirty years rolling around outside in my gravel driveway under cars and decided I had enough.i cant tell you how much better a#1roof-#2concrete floor-#3lift-and#4 the luxury of HEAT they have made my life easier.

may be a sender for an idiot light instead of a gauge.the idiot light sender just provides a path to ground at a specific temp.The gauge sender is a gradual increase(positive coefficient) or decrease(negative coefficient) in resistance as temp changes.hope this helps

Another possible cause is a leaking seal on the selector shaft where it goes into the trans.The fluid level is below this seal when the trans is in operation,when you shut it off the fluid drains down into the pan and increases the level above the seal and it leaks if the seal is bad.Hope this helps

An easy way to check your pcv system is to remove your oil filler cap and lay a business card or other flat piece of paper over it,engine idleing,and it should stick to the hole if your pcv is ventilating the crankcase.Also make sure your hose is ok-not plugged-that goes from the air cleaner to the ...
