Re: ?? Wiring on my D-200

I found it, seems I pulled the wire off the transmission neutral switch somewhere along the way. Found the treminal end just hanging there. Hooked up the wire and the engine came to life!

?? Wiring on my D-200

Well, I thought I had marked or would remember where these wires went when I started putting things back together......but this one black wire from the starter relay has my confused. It's about 4' long and no terminal on the end, just a bare strip of wire. Can anybody help me as to where it goes? Th...

Yellow Jacket Under Hood!

I had to check on a part in my old parts truck last weekend. I had seen yellow jackets going under the hood this summer, so I waited until we had a good hard frost before popping the hood. Glad I did, guess mice aren't the only things enjoying holding up in the truck! Cold Maine weather is actually ...

resizing pictures

I downloaded a program a long time ago called Irfanview http://irfanview.com/ I just open the picture with this program, click image resize/resample, select the size I want, click ok, then click "file save as" (whatever you want to name it) Real simple program--guess it has to be for me to use it! Motorcycle

Here's a pic of my '85 1100 Shadow. I've had Honda's all my life, 175cc,350cc,750cc. This Shadow I've had for about 10 years now. Very nice bike. I'm hoping there's a Harley or a Victory in my future, but for now the price tags keep them away. Short riding season up here in Maine, hard to justify sp...

What's the deal with the hole on the transmission top?

Well, my old motor is out of my '68 D200, but there's lots to do before I put the replacement motor in. I started cleaning the years of grime away and noticed this hole on the top of my transmission. (727 auto) My parts truck transmission has the same hole. It seems to me that water and dirt will ju...

lens fit

Just to update you. I'm still happy with these lenses, but they are not an exact fit. The holes on the new lenses are about an 1/8 inch closer than on the old. But I think with some careful reaming with a round file they'll fit ok. Should still look better than what I had before, plus I'll have a co...

68-69 parking lens

I just so happens that I bought a pair of these off him and recieved them today in the mail (US Postal Sevice). Nice looking, (no SAE markings). Took about 11 days to recieve them. Could have been packed a little better as they were in the same box rubbing against one another. But still, they did co...

I'm 45, been on this site since last summer. I've been a Mopar fan as long as I can remember. Bought my 68 D-200 back in the mid 90's. Used it as a daily driver for quite a few years then just off and on for a few years. Time has taken it's toll on it so now it's in my garage getting some TLC. Stumb...

I'm in the process of swapping the old tired 318 to a "not so tired" old 318. Need to do some rust repair at the same time. Guess now is the best time to tackle that!
